Manoj Thomas (Chair, Board of Trustees 2017 – 2017)
Manoj Thomas is a native of Tiruvalla, Kerala. He graduated from St. Berchmans College, Changanacherry, Kerala. and moved to New York in 1986. He moved to Atlanta in 2003 and has been a GAMA member ever since.
Manoj has served in the GAMA Executive Committee multiple times including as it’s Cultural Chair in 2005 and President in 2012. Manoj has also served as the President of Lions Club, Atlanta India Chapter during 2007. On his professional front he serves as the Vice President of Global Operations for a reputed IT firm based out of Alpharetta. He lives in Lawrenceville with his wife Manju along with their kids Malwin and Meiga.
Manoj served as the first Chairman of the newly formed GAMA Board of Trustees in 2017. He stepped down from the BoT at the end of 2017.
Mathew Abraham (Board of Trustees – 2017)
Mathew Abraham graduated from Shivaji University in 1990 and obtained his masters in biomedical engineering from Drexel, PA.
Mathew has been a long time member of GAMA and served as its Secretary in 2014. He has been living in the Atlanta area since 2001 and has held several leadership positions in the community and church activities . On the professional front, he has handled various positions in the academic field and leadership roles in multi-national corporations. He currently works for Agilent as an IT Engineer and lives with his wife Saly and four wonderful children.
